ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Award is the award that ADI –the Italian association for Industrial Design – gives to themost innovative products in the Italian design scene, chosen from the world of flooring and bathroom furniture
Silvia Stanzani (designer), Oscar G. Colli (Co-founder ofthe magazine Il Bagno oggi e domani), and Valentina Downey (President of ADI Delegazione Emilia – Romagna), valued the products presented at Cersaie, selecting theones that best combine innovation and smart design. Theproducts awarded are also selected for the ADI Design Index 2019, a yearly publication that focuses on the bestthe Italian design products, selected by the ADIPermanent Design Observatory.
pba CAP originates from an intuition in design witha desire to see the world for what it could be. CAP is a series of foldaway aids in powder-coated aluminium that, if not in use, disappear from view. It is this “disappearance” that reveals their true meaning. Here design is genuinely for everyone, because the overall interior design is not underpinned by a specific user profile, but solely bythe free movement of men.
