PBA HAND SANITIZER COVER COLLECTION AT THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, NEW YORK

Sustainability, inclusiveness, climate action force us to ask ourselves a question: is there an ethics of what we manufacture? An industrial design ethics?

Before everyone started questioning the consequences of how things are done and therefore the impact of design on the world, it was implied that the moral responsibility of a product was solely on the end user. The epochal change is the shift of responsibility to designers and manufacturers.

Dal 4 giugno al 3 agosto la 23esima edizione de La Milanesiana, con più di 60 incontri in 20 città per il festival itinerante ideato e diretto da Elisabetta Sgarbi. Nel programma spazio per letteratura, musica, cinema, scienza, arte, filosofia, teatro e sport. Tra gli ospiti, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Edith Bruck, Noam Chomsky, Damiano e Fabio D’Innocenzo, Abel Ferrara, Abdulrazak Gurnah, Édouard Louis, Claudio Magris e Ludmila Ulitskaya.

In the face of a global emergency, the only possible response must be global. Africa cannot be excluded. Vaccinating doctors, nurses and the African population is an act of solidarity and safety for everyone, even for us: this is the only way to stop the spread of the virus and its variants. We need a vaccination plan against Covid in Africa. More doses are needed. And these additional doses must become “real vaccination shots”.
