The collection of millwork pulls designed by Gensler for pba competed as finalist for the selection for the 2019 IDEA award. The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is one of the longest running and most prestigious design awards programs in existence. Each year, thousands of entries are submitted by design teams across the globe, making idea one of the largest and most widely anticipated annual awards programs in the world. pba collaborated with Gensler, serving as product design consultant, on this new range, which is suitable for office, hospitality, retail, education, healthcare, and aviation applications.
TWIST | HAND FREE LEVER
The hand-free Twist lever is designed to open the door without using the hand. The twisted shape of the lever offers a good support base for both the elbow or the arm and facilitates the opening operation.

COPPER FACTS: ANTIMICROBIAL COPPER
Copper has a natural antimicrobial efficacy against most common bacteria. Independent laboratory tests show that, when cleaned regularly, copper kills greater than 99.9% of the following bacteria within 2 hours of exposure: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and E. coli O157:H7.
These bacteria are considered to be representative of the most dangerous pathogens capable of causing severe and often fatal infections.
